The name of the concert is Giveton Gelin Quintet after hours. This concert took place on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 from one o'clock to four o'clock in the morning. The event was hosted late at night. The location of the concert was New York City at the blue note. The performers of the night were a jazz quintet group. The first member is Giveton Gelin, the trumpet player of the group. He started playing the instrument from a very young age and has won top position in the Betty Carter jazz program and the young arts foundation. The next artist is Immanuel Wilkins. He plays the alto sax and his mission is to become a leader in the jazz arena. Thirdly, there is Russell Hall who is the bassist of the group. There is also Micah Thomas and Kyle Benford. Micah is the piano player and the latter plays the drums.
The band played several tunes which were appealing to the audience. The song true design epitomizes the artistic nature of the world. It tells the story of the world in a musical manner. The song was composed by Giveton Gelin himself. It's very encouraging to see such a young composer writing a song that's so deep. Mr. Mathew by Giveton was another song performed by the band. This song is very captivating to the mind. With its falling and rising beats and the blare of the trumpet bring out the best food for the ears. The composer of this art is also Giveton. The audience was dumbfounded with the performances. The audience was very appreciative of the fact that the jazz scene still maintains quality in sound and vocals.
The event was worth attending because of the life-changing experience it has on people. Jazz concerts are not popular with young people but this one is was very different. The millennials and the generation y were fully in attendance. You mostly found this young crowd in hip-hop or rock concerts. This is influenced by the view that jazz music is for the older generation. The young crowd was in attendance due to the young age of Giveton. It is still a surprise too many of how talented he is. Some critics say that in the next ten years he will be a big thing in jazz. The stage of the event was well lit and colorful. The venue of the show contributed to the success of the show. The blue note jazz house is famous for its enthusiasm in jazz music. Jazz lovers often come there to chill and relax after a hard day's work.
The venue also offers food and drinks to its members. This was very convenient for the concert-goers since they did not have to bring their own drinks. Another added advantage is that the meals and drinks are affordable to the common man. The acoustics of the concert was also top notch. Their musicians were not straining their voices so much. The sound engineer ensured that the vocals of the artist and the instruments are in sync. The sound was amazing all tough out the different positions of the venue. Nobody complained about poor reception of sound from any area of the venue. This concert is a ground for getting to learn new sounds from different places. For instance, Giveton brings out the sound of the Bahamas.
