The rest of the film, however, has contradictions when Paul tried to grasp the mind of God when he requested honest answers as to why humans struggle throughout their lives.

The movie has various provocative themes that share Christian values. Not only does the film focus on the identity of the man but also how faith explores the relationship between Man and God. When the movie is compared with the book, the theme of submitting to God resembles what Paul did after he tried interviewing someone that claimed to be God.
