Introduction
America is one of the many countries that face racial discrimination, most of the African Americans communities are often discriminated and seen as less advantaged people in the community. I strongly agree with this since information given and through experience, I have indeed come to realize that racial disparity in America still exists, and nonwhites are undergoing a lot of oppression. It has however caused a lot of division between the two groups. Segregation has been in America since early years, and up to date somehow it is still felt in some parts of America such as Colorado and other states, this began in the 1800s, and unjust separation between the whites and the nonwhites was now clearly seen. Through 1900s Segregation of the nonwhites was everywhere in school, institutions, hotels, restaurants, and workplaces. Most of the blacks, however, did not access most of the services that the whites are being offered. In the early 1870s, the African Americans were barred from accessing quality education like the whites (Siegel & Ahmedin 27). Education should indeed be the great equalizer between the blacks and the whites; it is however not fair having all the children getting the same type of education and being given opportunities equally to attend good schools. This will indeed bring the whites and the blacks on par, therefore, bringing unity and prevent any form of Racism that might create animosity and hatred.
The low socioeconomic of the blacks is contributed by the most educated whites who graduate from college and have college degrees. Since most of them get a chance of acquiring the certificate than the blacks, most of them land on jobs that are well paying while Africans are given the white collar jobs. In the 1990s the economic state of the black in America had dramatically changed though, and they had moved from the rural and enter into better collar jobs. It was then that seems the school attendance was rising, but still, they could attend a good institution or access that quality education just like the American children. The African American was however considered to be on that poor socioeconomic class because they were relatively disadvantaged regarding labor market, home possession and education. Employment in the place has been challenging since, and it is up to date that is still felt though slightly, in the 1910s the rate of employment of black people indeed was meager. It, however, rose when World War 1 occurred and created jobs for the African American this is the time thousands of them moved into industries to seek employment. Though they still faced the discrimination in the workplace, the voting rights faced fewer barriers. Their increase in number made them a crucial factor during the election, and they created a movement Negro movement in the 1920s that aggressively advocated for equality.
It is so saddening that the bright blacks children in schools can be denied a chance to exercise or pursue whatever that they feel they need to do, this is a great racial disparity that exists in the institution and sometimes leads to violence. Whites could easily access services such as health services, but African Americans do not easily get access to the service (Katznelson 120). In 1947 Africans in States were banned from attending some health centers to get services, This has greatly instilled a sense of inferiority to most blacks as they feel not part of the country because their rights are mostly limited. A less wealthy life has always been considered to have a less healthy life and, it is the situation that most of the African American living in the states are experiencing it. This also shows that America just like some of the nation experience racial disparity, and it is indeed affecting many lives of the African America. It was not in the early 1980s when some of African was allowed to house ownership and other properties (Andrews & George 485).
Violence in America has been a great challenge that has affected the peace of the nation; this is commonly brought by political disputes, religious conflict and also the disparities that seem the government has the victim to react and even turn against the government. The violence existing in America, however, become worse if you are a black America. In many scenarios, most of the young adult's males in American are often shot and killed by the police officers, but the young white males are not harmed (Ananat 56). America though has aimed at providing rights of every individual and forming legislation on the adherence to the rules to protect human rights. It should, however, ensure that the all the American citizen are safeguarded irrespective of their colors The rate of incarceration of blacks in America is higher than that of whites, the black women who are taken into prison is twice as high as that of white women (Darnell 78). The percentage of the total prison population is taken by the blacks; it defines how black people are still taken as slaves and taken through oppression because of petty crimes that a simple punishment could solve. Analyzing all the actions that are whites do to the blacks then clearly the existence of racial disparity in America is real and African American have limited access to services that benefit them.
Conclusion
The difference in values between the whites and the nonwhites have also contributed much towards the division of the braces in America. The overwhelming majority of the African American advocate for their rights is saying that there should be equal rights of the. In 1990 majority of American. Few African Americans however much they contributed to the state economy or anything that benefits the state are rarely celebrated. Most of the blacks are discriminated basically because of their skin color however and have become victims of discrimination. The torture which Americans underwent caused them depression, and in 1924 the Americans expanded the racial discrimination to include the Indians, Japanese, and the Philippines (Andrews & George 485). The main aim was to reduce the immigration and as well to provide statistical information to analyze the racial discrimination in the US. Current America, however, has improved and not much racism is experienced in the place. Though not much has been the nonwhites are so far given equal rights, and they are indeed free to enjoy most of the services. It can be seen in opportunities of Scholarship given to the African children to pursue higher education, and the majority of them have access to good employment. It is, therefore, the main reason why there are not much divided, equality boosts unity of a country which then enhanced the development of a country.
