The duties of plant managers involve overseeing daily operations from production, manufacturing to ensuring that responsible employees follow policies and regulations. They also establish functions that maximize the safety, quality, and productivity of the firm. This career requires specific conditions, both personalities, and academic qualifications. For example, a plant manager should have strong team-building skills, people management skills, decision-making skills. Besides, a BS degree in business management, computer literacy, proven work experience as plant manager, leadership skills, and be familiar with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise, adequate knowledge about strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources plays a vital role. The average salary range of a qualified plant manager is $139107 and $190,236 (Smith & Duchon, 2010). However, the salary depends on various factors such as level of education, experience years, additional skills, among others. A plant manager can work in companies such as transportation, electronics, and chemical industries, pharmaceutical industries, printing and publishing, and so forth.

Consequently, a product developer is a person within the firm that initiates the process of establishing a certain product or enhancing an existing one to meet the specification of a customer. Product development as a career requires specific qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial design, adequate skills in using prototyping equipment, appropriate skills in design software, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The salary/wage of product developers ranges from $45000 to $84000 (Linton, 2020). Companies that hire product designers include transport companies such as Uber, electronics companies such as Microsoft, fashion companies such as Myntra, among others.

A plant manager and a product developer could work very well in one fashion Brand Company since their roles are crashing at any one point. The responsibilities of a plant manager include organizing, and directing daily operations, allocation of resources effectively, and committing safety procedures. In contrast, a product developer's responsibilities revolve around creating and enhancing products, consulting market researchers, and submitting propels and designs for evaluation.
