Besides, the organization should be bold enough to communicate to the public and condemn the evil activities on innocent people.

Credibility should guide the services: The following issues determine the reliability of an organization and the authenticity of its services (Lee et al. 7).

Some requirements are beyond what a humanitarian organization can offer. Taking an example of the Syrian war, it is rational to think of engaging the government in the restoration of the country's economy and social life. However, the engagement of the government may not extend to the signing of agreements that may compromise the independence and credibility of the humanitarian work.

It should be a demonstration of goodwill in reforming electricity production, educational and political institutions; hospitals and housing also need attention (Robinson 68).

Ethnocentric Challenges Affecting Independence of Humanitarian Work

When two different cultures clash, tension arises leading to disagreements between the two (Verjee 126).

Ethnocentric challenges usually occur when one culture feels as if they are superior to the other.

The primary problem to take into consideration that can happen is the issue of foreign government intervention. For instance, a problem may occur when the American humanitarian organization and government enter countries such as North Korea and attempt to assist in the restoration of the government and with the attempt to set forth laws (Smith 18).
