Introduction

The post-human theory is an approach that has its origin from the field of science, art, and futurology. The approach means that a person or an organism which is in existence in a state that is beyond human (Braidotti31). It, therefore, explores organisms which exist after human life. This theory addresses issues of justice, language, ethics, social systems as well as trans-species communication (Carr 19). Is there any relationship with humans and post-humanism? Yes, there exists a connection between humankind and animals. This association between man and animals is integral because it influences human life. It is imminent to note that post-humanism is not similar to Transhumanism. Post-humanism is a speculating being which represents re-conception of human. It is, however, subject to criticism which fundamentally questions humanism. However, there is a relationship between human and non-human as deduced from this theory. The evidence of this relationship has been in the records since pre-historical times. These pieces of evidence include the cave paintings that were discovered to the subterranean sides in southwestern France. It is at this place that Cro-Magnon humans depicted animals of several sizes and shapes.

There has been the coexistence of animals and humans for many years. The human benefit from this coexistence and so do the animals. The relationship between man and non-humans was more substantial due to the benefits that the man would get from these animals - for example, the coexistence of men and animals like dogs began long ago. The early man domesticated the dog to serve the man with several benefits such as assisting in hunting and also for security. The relationship between the man and the dog is an excellent example of the relationship. Other animals that are beneficial to the man include cows, some bird species, among others. The man benefits from these animals in several ways. The animals, on the other hand, benefit from their relationship with the man. They are taken care of, fed, and sheltered by the man. Animals also tend to understand these languages (Albuquerque, and Natalia 16).

The relationship between humans and animals involves a systematic deprivation and denial of some of the essential values of dignity. This deprivation takes us back to the time when a human was involved in killing and eating a non-human. However, this is a relationship as the man benefits from the food. There has been much fear associated with the non-human, others have been loved and made pets by some people, and other animals have suffered brutality such as donkey (Veevers, 28). Other animals are killed instantly by humans whenever they are spotted due to the fear they cause.

Conclusion

The theory of post-human tries to explain the similarities that maybe there between non-humans. The approach also paints a picture of how humans relate to the non-human organism. It shows how both species benefit from each other. It is, therefore, agreeable that the relationship between humans and non-human organism have an integral relationship pattern. As the paper captures, the association is both positive and negative. The connection should, therefore, be maintained as it may be of benefits to either side. Humans also have devised ways of communicating with non-humans. The theory perceives this aspect as a way of strengthening the relationship. However, people need to know that the link is crucial. Humans and non-humans benefit from the coexistence of each other in the various ways mentioned above.
