Introduction
Ethics is a set of philosophical codes of moral conduct and standards that are generally accepted and recommended in a community to guide and advise what is right or wrong. Ethical considerations are set principles and values that address the difference between what is right or wrong in how humans conduct their daily routines. It addresses how people get affected by the conduct of others. In ethics, legal considerations refer to the least acceptable standards of conduct by the law governing a particular profession. It involves tasks assigned to workers and responsibilities they owe to clients or their fellow employees and superiors such as truthfulness, quality services and respect.
The decision by the warehouse manager to accept frozen meat that was a few degrees outside the acceptable limits was unethical. It needed both ethical and legal considerations. In regards to ethical concerns, the ware house's manager was dishonest since he practiced nepotism. According to business ethics, all transactions are to get handled professionally despite the relationship amongst those transacting. It involved him accepting frozen meat that was below the acceptable limits because it was getting supplied to Max's Burger by a company owned by his relative. The warehouse manager failed to uphold an ethical responsibility of performing his assigned duties competently and maintaining his new employer's reputation and image. Nasaar Group Company owned by Houssam Nasar bought rights to manage Max's Burgers, and Nasaar made it his project and objective to improve its low meat quality. The manager accepted the frozen meat that was a few degrees outside the acceptable limits, yet he was aware it had adverse effects on the meat's quality and taste inconsistencies. It may result in the company's reputation getting damaged. The manager was unethical by not meeting his ethical responsibility of minding the customer's health and only cared about his relative's financial gain. He accepted the frozen meat, yet he was aware that its condition might result in food poisoning.
Stakeholders that might get influenced by the decision to accept or refuse frozen meat include Max's Burger, Nassar Group, and the company supplying the meat.In instances about acceptance of the frozen meat that was a few degrees outside the acceptable limits, the meat may get taste inconsistencies, or customers may experience food poisoning. Taste inconsistencies may have adverse economic effects on Max's burger since customer loyalty may decline, and customers may shift to other fast-food franchised restaurants. Taste inconsistencies and food poisoning instances resulting from acceptance of frozen meat signify incompetent and unethical management, which may jeopardize Nasaar Group's and its conglomerates established reputation and image. It may arise from customers suing Nasaar Group for compensation, which has adverse financial effects. The company supplying the meat may get sued, and its contracts terminated for providing poor quality meat. Legal considerations may order the termination or complete shutdown of the meat supplying company. The warehouse manager may get fired for unethical business conduct and duty negligence. Refusal of the frozen meat can only have some adverse effects on the company supplying the meat.It will get compelled by the legal business contract to resupply Max's Burger with frozen meat of the accepted temperature. It will incur some financial loses.
The decision-making framework refers to empirical methods and trained sensitivity to handling ethical issues and aspects in decision making and considering the impact and outcome of our choices. The decision-making framework, when consistently practiced, gets intuitive, and one can make ethical judgments and decisions subconsciously without consulting the specific steps (Making Choices, 2013). The most effective decision-making framework the warehouse manager would use to reach an optimal decision effectively is the duty framework. It would ensure that the manager focuses on his assigned duties, responsibilities, and obligations. This framework defines ethical conduct as the performance of assigned tasks within the stipulated rules and regulations and performing the right acts. It creates a consistent routine that follows specific set policies resulting in inconsistent results and expectations for all people within the same workplaces (Making Choices, 2013). If a precise method or practice is ethical, incompetently meeting a set objective or task, it is required of all employees to use the same process for the aim. It gets assimilated as a policy or law. It fosters equality, respect, and competency in places of work. The framework involves the use of moral rules to attain dignified results. The framework may seem impersonal, rigid, and cold (Making Choices, 2013). It is best suited for this situation since it involves fostering a sense of responsibility and why certain obligations require specific courses of action. This decision making framework was the most suitable for the warehouse manager since it would ensure he was ethical in effectively engaging in his obligations. The manager was to refuse the meat shipment that was a few degrees outside the acceptable limits, despite the company supplying the meat getting owned by his relative.

In conclusion, ethics is part of philosophy that guides society in determining what is right or wrong in their day to day lives. In ethics, there is legal consideration that involves laws and policies governing different professions and fields. Ethics is mainly characterized by the moral intuition to conduct activities in the right away to achieve the desired ethical results.
