Despite the ways through which war is revealed in other films, this one is different. Mostly war is by the police and fighting and exchanging bullets using firearms and death arising as a result of these types of war. In the movie, however, this is different because the war is between a husband and wife. The surprising thing is that they both have all the things that a person would wish for in life but still have disagreements and keep on fighting most of the times. They have the challenge to deal with in their marriage. The wife, whose name is Elizabeth tries all that she can to deal with the challenge in her marriage. There is an actress in the movie named Miss Clara. She brings in the aspect of religion in the movie entirely from her behavior and the way that she speaks. Through her religious character, there is limelight for Elizabeth as she helps her deal with the marriage issues by invoking religion as a way to deal with the challenges we face in our day to day lives.

Since directors usually have to be in charge of dictating the events that will happen in the movie, there is s scene where Clara is standing by a grave, and there is an explanation of an army gathering before a war to formalize a strategy. After the death of her husband, she has to face in her life, because her companion was no more. This is another character that has also to fight a war, and since she is a believer, we see her helping others experience what she did during the time that she was at her lowest moments and God helped her. The scene has been used as a flashback showing the past and therefore, a moment of strength for her friend during a difficult time.

In the film, spirituality has been used to show how the world is. Elizabeth faces many challenges even to the extent that she is beaten up daily by her husband, but she has to persevere this for the sake of keeping her family together. The directors have used the controversial issues that people face so that the message intended would be passed to the viewer. Generally, prayer, using religion as a source of strength, the background, and the props all have a connection to religion that helps for easy understanding of the major theme. It is using these aspects that the directors can pass the intended message quickly, and also the theme can be identified.

Elizabeth weeps to ask God to help her husband to love him again because for her, she seems to have done all that she could, but things would never change. The main message is for women who experience battery in their marriage to be strong because all that they have to do. After an intense prayer by Elizabeth, there is a drastic turn of events and Tony Elizabeth's husband changes and then loves her again bit things change, he loses his job and goes to jail for doing dirty business. The movie shows that God has over everything and all we need to do is to rust him and thing will take a turn for our good.
