This paper will discuss what I learnt from these visits and how they assisted me to understand my faith.

How These Visits Helped Them Understand My Own Particular Faith or Spiritual Journey Better

By attending the Catholic Church worship place, my faith in God was enhanced. This was due to the weekly preaching in the church. They made me to gain more faith in God. They gave me the ability to pray and believe that God would listen to my prayers. Things said during mas had the capability to open my thinking and speak to me. Listening to the word of God was so special and had lots of meaning that had to be interpreted. By implementing the teachings from church in my life, it helped to develop mentally and spiritually.

Similarly, the visits assisted me to gain the ability to ensure that all that I did revolved around Jesus. I gained the knowledge that setting sometime for God to listen to his word through the visits or through watching live preaching was essential since God deserved it. It was a symbol of thanking him for what he had done for me. The preaching taught me that we are called to be the followers of Christ. Paying visits to church, receiving the body of Christ was a reminder that God is among us.

Additionally, the visits made me understand that they were better ways to get ready for the new week that was approaching. Practicing my faith severally was something that I was really proud of. Through the preaching, one would be challenged, one would learn new things, and one would grow. I learnt that practicing one's faith is one of the greatest things in a person's life. Thus it is essential to make it a priority. I gained knowledge that it is essential to make it part of who I am so that I would have the ability to set a good example to my children. With regard to the worship place visits I had a chance to create a relationship with God. This is because I was taught on how to pray effectively. Thus I had an opportunity to communicate with God directly to effective prayers that I had been taught through the teachings from the church.

Mass time was a great relaxation period for me. The glorious period of prayer and reflection could do wonder on my mind, body and spirit. It was a period to listen, appreciate God, to ask for forgiveness and to worship. This would thus bring great peace in me, this is because I felt relieved from my sins and all the wrongs that I had committed. I always felt that God was giving me another chance to serve Him and please him thus increasing my faith in Him. The visits had the ability to prove that listening to teachings was a nice behavior that would bless my life and produce good output. This is because they teachings from the church enabled me to understand what I had been dealing with or basically get a better understanding. During tough times I would know that getting those teachings was so beneficial. Since they were so uplifting, motivating and inspiring.

Experiences That Made Me Think Deeper About the Specific Religious Belief I Hold

One of my experience that made me think more about the religious belief I hold is the fact that I witnessed the fathers who were the church leaders driving expensive cars and dressing up in expensive clothes. I really questioned my mentality that the church leaders were holy and kind individuals that were willing to help. This really made me question my faith since I wondered the reason why these individuals would not sacrifice the properties that they owned and helped the poor that would sleep hungry, and clothe the naked as well as develop refuge for those individuals that did not own homes. I was as well surprised by the way they would entice people to give their offering through the big amounts of money rather that enticing people to offer all that they could. This made them seem so greedy which made me think otherwise of the church leaders.

What Changed For Me and How I Would Articulate This Change to Others

Some of the factors that have changed for me is the belief that church leaders are holy and are always ready to help. This is just a stereotype that is not even near to the reality. Church leaders are just like other people who are sin and some do not care for humanity. Some are as well greedy and very corrupt. Based on the way they would enquire.

I have as well decided that online churches are the most effective. This is because most of them are not money oriented nor are they too much on money. They as well save on much time that one may spend in the churches. Similarly, in online churches people do not have chances to show off their properties unlike in churches where the main agenda of the congregants is to show off. They would mainly come in expensive clothing which would make the congregants from poor backgrounds to feel discouraged. The church leaders seemed only to recognize the rich members of the congregation. This made me to greatly change my perception on physical churches.

Additionally, from the regular visits in the church I did not see its benefits. I did not see its values in being there week after week. This is because the church leaders had become the mouthpiece for the political party. I always believed that their job was to share the gospel rather than changing the government. Similarly the church was handling conflicts so poorly. I always thought that the church should be the best at handling conflicts. The church leaders would engage themselves in gossips were they would talk about others rather to people. This greatly changed my perception about church and its church leaders.

The regular visits to worship places has increased my faith in God. This is because the preaching from the church have helped me enhance my faith as well as enabled me to gain more knowledge about God. The visits have enabled me to understand the supernatural being that is omnipresent. I have gained more knowledge to determine what angers God as well as the activities that impress him most. I have as well learnt on the ways that I can adapt to improve my faith as well as make God happy.

To articulate this information to others I would encourage them to make several visits to the place of worship that I visited to ensure that they gain the experience that I had.

I have learnt that the church leaders are not different from other human beings. Some of them are not kind or generous as expected of them. Some of them greed and thirst for money thus making online churches the best option. Since they only aim at ensuring that the word of God reaches as many people as possible.
