Introduction

Resource constraints are one of the significant challenges hindering project implementation. However, finding an optimal solution to this problem, the organization should ensure that it satisfies all the resource requirements by allocating scarce resources through the maintenance of all the precedence restrictions. The firm must also develop time-based objectives so that it minimizes project lateness. Resource constraints can affect project management negatively. Companies with such challenges delay their projects, rushing the projects leading to errors, and sometimes loss of the productive workers due to stress (Ponnappa, 2014). Thus, these detrimental effects of resource constraints can cause the overall collapse of the company.

How to Implement Project Management Processes

As a manager, it is prudent to use generally accepted practices of project management. Hence, when charting the way forward for successful completion of projects, the managers should adhere to the principles of project structure, project definition, and risk recognition. Within the project structure, there are three parameters that the firm focuses on, and they include the goal of the project, project milestone, and the timeline. Based on the purposes of the project, the team should seek to answer this question, "what has to be done" that helps in revealing the plan of the project structure. Besides, at every step of the project definition, every team member must be involved in the successful implementation of the project (Ponnappa, 2014).

First Steps be to Implement Project Management

The first step to the implementation of project management is the identification and meeting with all the parties involved in the process. Therefore, when creating a project plan, the firm should consider the interests of all the users. Moreover, the project manager also needs to convene a meeting with the project sponsors and other relevant stakeholders to discuss their possible expectations and needs that align with the scope of the project. There should be a uniform document that finalizes and records all the project details so that the company eliminates any possibility of miscommunication.

Influencing Stakeholders on Adopting the Processes

Project managers face challenges in influencing the stakeholders to support the implementation. However, there are several ways in which the manager can change them and support the projects. First, the manager should analyze all the reasonable expectations and interests arising from the stakeholders and investigate them effectively to their satisfaction. Next, the managers should develop an effective strategy leading to a network that will enhance their levels of communication (Ponnappa, 2014). Improved communication processes in the project implementation help the business in performing risk analysis that promotes the creation of a plan that is useful in solving any conflict that may arise among the stakeholders.

Effects of a fully Implemented Project Management Methodology on an Organization

All the companies use project methodologies since it is an integral part of the successful implementation of the project as well as the significant improvements. A fully implemented project methodology is necessary for helping the business to achieve its objectives through better results. Since the project methodologies are heterogenous, they play a meaningful role in offering support to the project stakeholders in the entire life cycle of the project. Besides, a fully implemented methodology is an integral factor in influencing the environmental impacts of the company that also brings positive characteristics to the success of the project.

Different Communication Methods for System Downtime and their Pros and Cons

Planned and unplanned downtime are the two primary communication methods that may affect project implementation. Planned communication downtime takes place with scheduled system maintenance during the inspection of service by the team of technicians. On the other hand, unplanned communication downtime occurs when something breaks down, technically causing an emergency. Planned downtime has the advantage of reducing emergency downtime in the organization. However, its disadvantage is that it may lead to increased maintenance costs. Unplanned downtime may help the firm to fully restore all its broken channels of communication while to its disadvantage, and it is very costly to the firm ("Planned or unplanned maintenance what's the difference? Benefits of PPM", 2020).
