What I like most about the film is the beginning of sustainability that was seen after the Neolithic period that saw fundamental changes in the system. That was after a shift from hunting and gathering to agriculture that led to permanent settlements and the establishment of social classes and the rise of urban living. In the documentary, initially, people were aware of their ecosystem s as they co evaluated with their environment. That created limitations as most people were subsistence farmers and had a limited amount of land following their minimal animal and human labor. The Agrarian revolution, therefore, formed the basis of many civilizations that saw the new era in Europe, developing new dynamism in the shift between human and natural environment from predominant relationship to the modern scientific view. That subsequently led to a rise in the industrial revolution that mechanized the use of Agriculture for the cultivation of large farms.

A system thinking underscores a systems mindset in complex problem solving through interconnectedness that requires a shift in mindset from linear to circular and synthesis of ideas in the quest of sustainability. A system in the context of an eagle eye view u8nderlies a set of interrelated concepts working together in a particular environment in the pursuit of performing function s needed in the achievement of the objectives of the system.
