He is also the most talked about musician and has made many accomplishments within a short period. He supports charity works by giving donations whenever he realizes people are in distress. His mother was a director of a non-government organization and therefore he has gained experience in helping others since he was a kid. He started singing at an early age when he was in high school. He inspires young and old musicians with his different songs and moves when he dances. Although Chris Brown has had few controversies in his career, he is the most successful performer not just in America but also worldwide.

The American recording artist was born on 5th May 1989 in a small town called Tappahannock in Virginia. In Virginia, he joined Essex High school and in 2005 he went to New York to study music as a career because it was his passion (The Famous People). He is a talented young star with a smooth voice, his body and amazing dance moves. Growing up in this small town with almost 2,000 people he was able to discover his talent. Chris Brown was born with his talent and he enjoyed utilizing it in church. He was inspired and motivated by his former musical artists such as Michael Jackson, Sam Cooke and Stevie Wonder. Usher is also his idol and he shows off his dance prowess by imitating him.

Tina Davis discovered Chris Brown while working for Def. Jam Recordings. He was fascinated by his unique smooth voice and Davis realized that he was a star. He trained him on how to balance his voice and eventually became his manager. During this period Davis helped Brown secure a great deal with Jive Records. It was successful in developing young stars such as 'N Sync and Britney Spears. The track was a combination of R&B and hip-hop as it also features Juelz Santana who makes a guest appearance. After the release of this hit that made him appear on 200 charts more hit tracts followed and they include "Gimme That" and "Excuse Me Miss" both written by Sean Garrett and Scott Storch. Although there is a hip-hop influence in most of Brown's songs, his voice maintains a classic R&B sound. His songs follow the normal teenage life where he mostly figures girls and dating. He is a dancer and a singer and can do both at the same time which makes most people compare him with Michael Jackson who also did both singing and dancing.

Chris Brown was nominated for two Grammy Award nominations following his hit album. The award was for the Best R&B Contemporary Album and Best New Artist of the year. Although he did not win any of these nominations he demonstrated to his audience and fans at Grammy Awards that he was a talented musician. He held his own gift trophy and performed alongside two R&B legends namely, Smokey Robinson and Lionel Richie. He continued receiving more awards such as the NAACP Image for Outstanding New Artist. Chris Brown performed in a roadshow for a personal tour and up close in 2006. While in this show, he performed in more than thirty concerts in towns across the country. Chris Brown is also featured in small screens, for example, he acted against type on "The O.C." as a high school nerd for many episodes. In November 2007, Chris released another album called Exclusive and he has become more active and he helped in writing songs such as "wall to wall", "Kiss Kiss", "Picture Perfect" among many others. He worked with T-Pain, Tank, and Sean Garrett and he also developed ideas for his music videos and helped the director to record them (Saddleback Educational Publishing). He acted in big screen with more active roles for instance "This Christmas (2007)" which is a dramatic comedy. He also acted as Michael in "Baby" where he was pursuing a musical career and the family was opposing it. He has released more hits and he is now confident of this work in the music sector. In 2011, Brown released 4th album known as 'F.AM.E' which consisted of 'beautiful people', 'Yeah 3X', and 'Look at Me Now'. The album earned him more than $9.9 million (Rigzin). In 2012 he released the 'Fortune' and 'X' in 2014. He has made a lot of money from 'Royalty' in 2015 and 'Heartbreak on a Full Moon' in 2017. The brown latest big-screen role was on Blackish in 2017. He still continues actin in the big screen and composing more song which makes him successful.

Chris Brown is active in charitable works and he randomly contributes to charity when he feels people are suffering. His mother was a director at an NGO and perhaps this is where Brown learned to help others who are in need. In 2017, Brown helped Hurricane Harvey victims with $100,000 after the floods in Houston. He donated $50,000 that he earned from a road show to St. Jude Children's Hospital (Rigzin). He was only 17 years old when he decided to help the poor kids. He donated a car in 2015 to a woman her three kids who were suffering from domestic violence. in 2012, Brown established 'Symphonic Love foundation' which is a charity home that provides young children with social service. In 2016, he donated to 'Courage for Kids' foundation he gave backpacks to kindergarten children. He hosted 1000 youths in an event and provided them with Reebok shoes. He is a spokesperson for the 'AIDS Project Los Angeles.' Brown has supported many charitable foundations such as Stand up to Cancer, Red Cross, Home Again and Get Schooled Foundation (Rigzin).

Despite his accomplishments, Brown has many controversies and the major one is the domestic abuse scandal. He was all over the headlines in February 2009 after he assaulted Rihanna his girlfriend. He was having an argument with the R&B singer and he angrily assaulted her (Corcoran). He apologized at a police station after his arrest and said he did not realize what transpired that sad incident. He was accused of two offenses that resulted in that incident. He pled guilty in June and was convicted to five probation years 180 days of community labor. The judge also probated him from being close to Rihanna. After one month, he apologized to the public and acknowledged all his actions (Thompson). His legal woes had a negative impact on his career and many of his supporters stopped listening to his tracks.

Following Brown attack on Rihanna, he is now among the people who are committed to ending domestic violence. In an interview with Larry, Brown said that the young generation is not taught how to deal with heated situations. He is now teaching people on how to engage in healthy relationships and control their anger (Corcoran). He has supported families who were struggling with domestic violence and offers his support being that he was once a victim.

He is trying to become a better person after learning from his experience. He is now in the forefront to stop domestic violence and helps those who suffer from the abuse. He has aided many of students and charities make this world a better place. The fact that Chris Brown uses his power, status, and money to make the world a better place makes him an important icon in the society. Celebrities should learn from him and make the world better rather than keeping everything they make for themselves.
