The freedom of speech in the documentary has been deemed as one of the areas, every activist, and journalist paid closer attention. In other words, censorship of information resulted in the thriving of dictatorship, and the Tunisian citizens were suffering under President Ali's York. However, the inspiration of the revolution, gave the Tunisian citizens, their freedom of speech, a privilege that many journalists, bloggers and activists had longed to have.

The central theme of the documentary is geared towards attaining democracy to the Tunisian citizens. As a result, this gave the government a chance to oppress the citizens without any fear or questioning from the external sources. The focal point in the documentary, illustrates the struggle for Tunisians, to gain freedom, and right to leave in a democratic nation.

Jawhara, and Emna, are the central figures in the documentary, due to their influence and push for the revolution. Even though their efforts played a vital role in ensuring that Tunisian citizens are aware of their rights, Jawhara does not consider herself, as the hero of the revolution. Emna's contribution may be deemed as one of the key elements that sparked the revolution, after one of the fruit vendors, set himself on fire in December 2010, in a mark of protesting against the government taking his fruit kart (Women Make Moves, 2020). Emna's contribution through openly confronting the act gave the Tunisian citizens power and courage to protest against the government. As a result, the protest, led to the fall of president Ben Ali's corrupt government, and restoration of democracy, that Tunisian's had been deprived for over 22 years, after Ennahda's president party was forced to flee (Women Make Moves, 2020).

What the Documentary Conveys to Us Regarding These Figures

Emna and Jawhara took a brisk step in openly condemning the malevolent government acts on its citizens. As a result, the documentary conveys a strong sense of courage and transparency as a leader. Both Jawhara and Emna were open and transparent, and always fought for the truth irrespective of the government status, and exercise of brutality to the citizens. Through this, leaders should not be affected or intimidated by the power of the superiors with deranged views. Jawhara and Emna raised their voices to advocate for the truth.

How the Documentary Depicts the Political Islam and Its Influence on the Main Figures

The main goal of the political Islamism is to promote democracy, without contradicting Islam principles that may jeopardize the safety of the Tunisian community. The political Islam is playing a vital role in bringing change, through encouraging free and fair elections to all Tunisia citizens. Moreover, the documentary portrays political Islam, as the tool of bringing change to the oppressed.

How Women are Represented

The degree of representing women after the revolution has significantly changed. Jawhara has taken a distinctive initiative on empowering women to fight for their rights. Working and education among women in Tunisia were not widely considered as a priority. However, since the fall of Ben Ali's government, women, have taken historical measures in practising to become leaders and useful members of the society. Jawhara became a member of the Ennahda party and has been given the responsibility of teaching the young girls about leadership, and their rights, a step that is geared towards empowering women.
