Having noticed your advertisement for a vacancy at your institution, I hereby apply as a TBA in the department of information technology. It is within my interest to work in IT related fields and I have therefore attached my credentials with this letter for consideration in the above position. The following is an outline of how my skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications suit the key selected criteria of TBA.
To begin with, the job requires a woman and as a woman, I am hence qualified. The position requires someone with knowledge in information technology; I am qualified with a Ph.D. in Computer Science. I also possess a master in Software Engineering which is critical in information technology. The position requires a person with a strong research background in relevant areas that involve machines, data analysis, optimization, modeling, visualization, cyber security, information system, multimedia and other relevant fields. I possess eight years of research experience. My research interests are based on domain transformation based on staff planning problems by the use of constructive plus deterministic skills.
The other areas of research include information granulation and other related fields. I also have interests in developing research concerning multi technologies used in education, psychology, multimedia education among other areas. Among the requirements, the organization requires someone with an emerging scholarly publication record within specified journals and conferences around the area targeted. My qualification extends to this field since I have participated in the publishing of a journal known as Domain Transformation Approach to the Nurse Scheduling Problem, this is an Australian journal on Basic and Applied Science. It was published in the year 2014.
Additionally, the institution requires the interested person to demonstrate successful collaboration with other individuals and stakeholders. This qualification also suits me properly considering that I have participated in such activities for some time now. At the organization known as Stronger Together, I took part in the preparation of the half of the program that dealt with panel speakers. I was also highlighted as a Woman in Science for the Science Faculty in the year 2015. These are among other relevant invitations where I successfully participated in during the past years. The experience I gained from these areas gives me a better chance for the job.
Moreover, within the job description, it is required that the applicant should display her capacity to conduct lectures effectively by herself. Other related activities areas that the individual should be qualified include assessments, tutorials and examinations. There should also be evidence in her teaching that should be showed by relevant examples. Considering these qualifications, I also qualify for the job since I have nine years of experience as a teacher in UNMC. I acted as a module convener and taught modules. I have also taught various subjects like digital media, communication and technology and information technologies and design. The other areas I have taught include scientific computing. All these disciplines I taught while in Nottingham.
Furthermore, I have been a supervisor in various areas and levels of education; in my CV I have provided a number of students who would prove that I have been a successful tutor. My experience in supervision as shown above also qualifies me since the organization requires such experience. Based on these qualifications and skills, some of which I might not have named, I believe that I would be the best-qualified person for the job. The skills and qualifications are very necessary at any field.
